German speaker HRO Project Lead

Organization

The primary objective of the Project Lead is to meet and exceed set targets through managing operational performance, attendance and quality of services delivered by each Team Member and Subject Matter Expert within the project.

Function

Provide team leadership and coaching

· Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

· Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives

· Motivate and inspire team members

· Lead by setting a good example (role model)

· Coach and help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behaviour

· Facilitate problem solving and collaboration

· Strive for team consensus and win-win agreements

· Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward closure

· Maintain healthy group dynamics

· Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues

· Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate on the team

· Establish and conduct daily team meetings

· Perform 1to1 meetings, feedback sessions on a regular basis with the team members and document discussions

· Participate in regular 1to1 meetings with line manager

· Set goals for the individuals and evaluate performance as per company requirements

  • Identify critical resources and create succession plan
  • Ensure the Project Team is properly trained to perform the activities defined, building stand in matrix for all activities in scope
  • Ensure Project Team’s smooth operation through close collaboration with the Support Groups
  • Ensure full participation in team activities such as Town Halls and Trainings

Reporting

Communicate team status, task accomplishment, and direction (Reporting)

· Provide status reporting of team activities as per management requirement

· Keep the stakeholders and client informed of task accomplishment, issues and status as necessary

· Deliver reports as required (daily, weekly, monthly, ad-hoc basis)

· Participate in monthly performance calls with client or as necessary in ad-hoc calls

· Escalate and follow-up issues which cannot be resolved by the team

Maintain focus on the tasks, stakeholder and customer requirements (SLA & SOW) for the whole of the team

· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary

· Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance

· Assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards

· Provide necessary business information

· Serve as meeting manager, point of escalation

· Initiate sub-groups or sub-teams as appropriate to resolve issues and perform tasks in parallel

· Help keep the team stay focused and keep them on track

· SLAs/KPIs/SOW/MSA awareness

Delivery

  • Meet Key Performance Indicators, such as Productivity, Quality and Turnaround Time related metrics, as well as other requirements and goals as defined by the Direct Line Manager through the goal setting process according to TCS’s Performance Management System

· Acts as PI agent, identifies opportunities for improvement and drives implementation of tangible opportunities

  • Prioritize the workload per requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage optimal utilization of the Team (work allocation, controlling leaves, holiday planning)
  • Foster and maintain good business relationship with the Customer
  • Participate to floor-walks for the customers and ensures team activities and achievements are well presented
  • Participate in Recruitment Activities, conduct Technical Interviews
  • Closely work with other locations with the same relationship / account and drive process improvements / training and ensure standardization of scope

Quality/Process integrity

  • Ensure that all incoming task are completed appropriately according to internal and external Service Level Agreements and Schedules
  • Ensure Quality process is followed as per iQMS
  • Responsible for security (Data, People, Information) for the team

  • Focus on Continuous improvement, drive process improvement initiatives and manage implementations


Requirements

Required:

· Fluency In German and English

· Good command of MS Office applications, Telephony applications, Leading Payroll tool

· 2 years Leadership experience
