Head of Talent Development – Maternity cover

As the Head of Talent Development you will be responsible for managing the learning and development programme within the centre as well as managing the Talent Development (TD) infrastructure in Hungary Global Delivery Centre to ensure that the learning requirements of the centre are met.


Talent Development Strategy

• Drive the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy of the centre

• Drive the implementation of L&D practices in order to be ahead of competition

• Establish & manage the L&D budget for the centre

Learning & Development Programme Delivery, with special focus on Leadership Programmes

• Deliver and design learning courses

• Develop, deliver, facilitate soft skill, domain and complex module based training programmes

• Coordinate and / or deliver Induction Programme, Language training, domain, technical & soft skill courses

• Keep abreast with changes and introduce new L&D methods and methodologies

• Plan and coordinate with external vendors

• Web based and blended training program management

Faculty Development

• Identify the skill and knowledge gaps of existing faculty and conduct development programs

• Identify faculty across the organisation

Learning & Development Process Development and Compliance

• Ensure compliance to L&D processes and suggest process improvements

• Ensure measurement tracking and compliance to metrics defined

• Periodically evaluate the training delivery to measure the training effectiveness

• Maintain quality records for audit requirements and take corrective and preventive actions accordingly

Learning & Development Management

• Plan and schedule training programmes of the centre

• Consolidate the Learning Requirements for the centre

• Measure the learning programme effectiveness in the centre

• Collaborate with all stakeholders to improve the training effectiveness

• Tracking and administration of vocational fund

• Implementation and Management of the TCS Competency and Learning Management System

• Continuous evaluation of the competency level in the Delivery Center

• Driving Professional Certification Programs whenever required

• External vendor identification, evaluation and management

• Use business intelligence to identify the potential skills needed for the future business plan and plan for appropriate action

Team management

• Sets performance goals for direct reports and monitors performance

• Provides guidance to team to achieve personal, team & professional goals

• Tracks competency gaps that exist among team members & and ensures learning


• Establish, review and refine monthly, quarterly and annual Learning Calendar for the centre

• Submits weekly and monthly reports on learning activities

Other tasks, responsibilities

• Participating in meetings and trainings, including external conferences as well and implement learnt best practices

• Participating in and providing information, data for audits when needed

• Run communication and information sharing sessions in the above mentioned topic based on need for the relevant audience (e.g. managers, all employees etc.)

• Other tasks that are related to the TD Head position and are assigned by the Head of HR of TCS Hungary

• Back up TD colleagues based on the HR team’s back up plan
