Center of Excellence – HR Specialist


We are looking for a new member to join our strategical team at the HR Center of Excellence.


TATA Consultancy Services is an IT, consulting and business organization. Our first Global Delivery Center was established in Budapest, Hungary in February 2001. The objective of this center is to provide near-shore services to our customers in Western and Eastern Europe and to customers with a global presence. Since its establishment, TCS Hungary is a strategic delivery center globally offering a broad portfolio of services.



· Assesses the HR process that can be digitized and drives HR digitization agenda based on the business and legal needs. (e.g. clearance process, time and attendance system, employee data records, employeee experience etc.) makes recommendations and after approval implements the digitized process.

· Coordinates and engages the relevant stakeholders in the digitization process

· Ensures appropriate training and communication for all relevant stakeholders

HR Policies and Processes

· Implements/ taylors global HR processes in a way that they meet local business needs

· Actively participates in creating new policies and processes

· Ensure appropriate training and communication for all relevant stakeholders

Reporting & HR Controlling

· Prepares different analysis (CTC, overtime, sick leave, attrition etc.) for possible process improvements

Legal Compliance

· Ensures 100% compliance with the Hungarian Labour Code, GDPR and other relevant legislation (including documentations, practices, policies)

· Ensures that the HR team is prepared for requirements of the Hungarian and European data protection acts

Other tasks, responsibilities

· Participates in meetings and training, including external conferences as well and implement learnt best practices

· Participates in and provides information/data for audits when needed

· Runs communication and information sharing sessions in the above mentioned topic based on needs (e.g. managers, all employees etc.)

· Other tasks that are related to the COE Specialist position and are assigned by the Head of HRD of TCS Hungary

Back up COE and other HR colleagues based on the HR team’s back up plan


· College or university degree

· Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

· 3 years of previous experience in HR Business partnering or equivalent

· Solid understanding of Hungarian Labour Code and GDPR

· Fluent oral and written english
