Lead Recruitment Specialist


Our Lead Recruitment Specialist is expected to drive the strategy, team and the operational framework inside the Talent Acquisition team.


Stakeholder management

  • The lead recruitment specialist will act as a consultant by being the main point of information for all the involved stakeholder
  • Work closely with the business and senior management to create strategies for effective and on-time hiring.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Operation’s Heads and Project Managers
  • Relationship management with recruitment agencies
  • Vendor management: relationship management with job portals (including yearly contract renewal and negotiation, evaluation of vendors, review of new vendors)
  • Ensure proper candidate management and candidate experience in the attraction and recruitment process and appropriate follow-up

Decision Making

  • Taking part in decision making and setting of hiring priorities
  • Decision making in prioritization of the Sourcing Specialist strategy


  • Working closely with the Buddy Scheme Internal Referral Program to increase the inflow of recommended profiles
  • Ensure that Job Advertisements are always uploaded in time in all the possible channels that TCS Hungary uses
  • Ensuring quality CV flow through the recruitment agency partners for the released assignments
  • Continuously doing innovative research for finding out and using other sources (networking, forums, institutes, alternative job portals and websites across the boarders, etc.)
  • End to end recruitment when applicable

Onboarding Management

  • Informing and cooperating with all relevant stakeholders about candidate onboarding status as applicable
  • Ensure all joining formalities are as per TCS process and as per legal requirements

Team Management

  • Leads the recruitment team
  • Coaches team members based on need, ensuring that they are having the deepest possible knowledge about their own responsibility areas
  • Runs the performance management process for the team members
  • Behaves as role model for the team and represents TCS values through actions
  • Continuously drives the team to attain operational and personal excellence
  • Prepares strategies and budget calculations as applicable
  • Effectively driving the adoption of new strategies with-in the team
  • Planning and driving execution of hiring plans with-in the team

Business Accumen

  • Consultation on job feasibility for projects
  • Continuous support and focus on market information regarding skill availability, feasibility of fulfilling different positions with information regarding recruitment timeline and salary range

Quality Management

  • Ensure that TCS recruitment process is followed by all the stakeholders involved in the selection process
  • Continuously working towards improvement of hiring methods, job positioning, process improvement & social media presence for enhancing candidate search & reach
  • Monitors and follows up that interviewers are trained according to TCS recruitment standards
  • Ensures that quality interview evaluation forms are in place by properly auditing them
  • Ensures quality work and results of Sourcing

Job fairs & Events in Attraction and Employer Branding and Communication

  • Efficiently and professionally represents TCS Hungary at job fairs and other Academic Interface Program events if required (e.g. career days, career counselling for students, interview simulations, company visits, company presentations etc.)
  • Participates in various external recruitment & HR events to create brand visibility and to adopt new age hiring methods.

Other tasks and responsibilities

  • Creation of regular and ad-hoc reports related to positions open and candidate status
  • Daily maintenance and update of the recruitment database and the daily tracker (accurate data in time)
  • Participation in meetings and training, including external conferences as well and implementation of learnt best practices
  • Participation in and providing information, data for audits
  • Other tasks that are related to the TAG Head position and are assigned by the Head of HR of TCS Hungary
  • Back up TAG/RMG and other HR colleagues based on the HR team’s back up plan



  • College or university degree
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of the recruitment process including sourcing, recruiting and hiring, and stakeholder management
